In this windów, I didnt changé anything (at Ieast I dónt think l did-if i changed some vaIue by accident, lm not sure), ánd I went tó exit ánd hit Exit Sáving Changes (no changés as far ás I know). Unable to find anything of use (as far as gettings into safe mode) there, I chose some option in the boot manager that sent me to the Setup window. Well, I tried, and F8 didnt do anything so, I used F12 while starting the system to go to the boot manager. In a tutorial, it said that it would be best to do this in safe mode (which, it said, could be attained by hitting F8). I was wondering if the OP used the third party imaging software to create the drive which may have had a problem, but I have no experience since I use just the built in utility. ![]() Insydeh20 Setup Utility Boot Order Software To Create ![]() Selecting the USB stick continues the boot into the rescue environment. Now, when tápping the F12 key during startup, I get to the Boot Options screen and see the USB stick listed. I assumed that with the rescue USB disk inserted, the laptop should boot directly from that source without any intervention on my part (which it was not).
